Commerce students can apply for NATA in 2017?
I have a very simple query that I want to ask here is that, commerce students can apply for NATA in 2017? I am also studying Mathematics.

The basic educational eligibility criteria for NATA is-
1) One should have completed 10th class. 2) For the B.arch course, you should have passed the intermediate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. So, as you can see the clause (2), you can definitely apply for the NATA in-spite of being a commerce student but the only condition is that you should have mathematics as a compulsory subject in your intermediate. If you have passed your intermediate with commerce branch without mathematics then unfortunately you are not eligible. |

NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture.
Eligibility criteria: *Those who want to appear for this examination should have done 10+2 from any recognized board. Mathematics must be one of the compulsory subject in 10+2. *The minimum marks required to appear for this examination is 50% in board exams. You are eligible to appear for this examination after pursuing 12th with commerce stream and mathematics. |

NATA (National Aptitude Test In Architecture) is a examination conducted by Council of Architecture for admission to B.Arch.
Eligibility You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with maths as a compulsory subject. Exam Pattern - NATA exam will be conducted in two parts. 1) Drawing Test 2) Aesthetic Sensitivity Test - No negative marking for any wrong answer. - Drawing Test : You have to attempt three questions and having duration of 2 hours. - Aesthetic Sensitivity Test : This test consist of 40 questions & having duration of 1 hour. NATA Important Dates - Registration Process Begins From : 21/01/2016 - Last Date of Registration : 18/08/2016 - NATA Exam Start Date : 01/04/2016 - NATA Exam Last Date : 20/08/2016 |

No, Commerce students are not eligible to apply for NATA.
NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. NATA exam is conducted on an all India basis for those candidates wishing to take admission to any of the Architecture colleges listed under NATA. The test is conducted from the month of March till July every year. Eligibility criteria to appear for NATA :- -The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject with at least 50% aggregate marks. Or, 10+3 Diploma in any stream recognized by Central/ State Governments with 50% marks in aggregate. Or, International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with at least 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination. |

Respected Sir, I am Sakhshi, a 11th commerce student. I want to become an Architect.
I read the discussion, that a commerce student will not be eligible for appearing in NATA exam. Sir can you please help me to figure out that I am eligible or not eligible for NATA exam 2018. Thank You. |
