Possibility to appear in NATA for Commerce student?
hi,
i m little confused about stream suitable for nata entrance exam, is it possible to give nata exam by commerce stream???... plzz rply... |

NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. It is an entrance examination which measures the aptitude of the applicant for study of Architecture. Any person who have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination and above are eligible to appear in NATA examination. But, to get admission in B.Arch course through NATA examination, you must have qualified an aptitude test in architecture and must have secured at least 50% marks in your 12th standard in your 12th standard or equivalent examinations with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognised board. Since, you have completed 12th standard from a recognised board, you are eligible to appear in NATA examination.

You are eligible to appear in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) entrance examination being a commerce student if you have pursued Mathematics as one of the subjects. The basic educational qualification required is "10th class" or SSC or its equivalent examination to be eligible to apply for NATA Examination. But you can get admission into B.Arch course only when you pass 12th class in any stream from a recognized university.
Educational Qualification: >> If you have studied "MATHEMATICS" as a main subject in 12th class (Commerce) stream, then you are eligible to appear in NATA Examination. >> You must have passed 12th class or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks, then you are treated as an eligible candidate. |

National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) is conducted annually for selecting students for Bachelor of Architecture(B.Arch) course in various institutes in India.
To be able to apply for NATA exam you must have studied Maths in 12th class and at-least 17 years old. Otherwise, you are eligible to appear for the exam. Test has 2 parts: Part-1: Paper based drawing test and computer based online aesthetic sensitive test. Part-2: Drawing test where in you have to attempt 3 questions. |

NATA does not discriminates based on stream.
The essential eligibility to appear in National Aptitude Test in architecture is that you must have Mathematics as one of your subject in 12th and Must have passed 12th with minimum 50% marks. As you are from commerce,it can be presumed that you had maths in 12th so you could be eligible for the test. |

The Council of Architecture being conducting the entrance test NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
Eligibility Criteria for NATA 2015: Any person having passed SSC or equivalent examination and above can appear for NATA. Only candidates, who have qualified an aptitude test in Architecture and have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects, shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch course. No direct lateral admission is allowed at any year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification. NATA score shall be valid for a period of two years from the year in which one appeared. |
