Ph.D in Electronics. I want to do my Ph.D in electronics [Physics] from Jay Pee UNIVERSITY SOLAN OR SHOOLONI UNIVERSITY, Solan or NIT Hamirpur, H.P. Please advise me the procedure and dates for applying these courses on regular basis or through correspondence course.

Jaypee University offers the Ph.D courses to various disciplines. For Ph.D admission, You must have passed master's degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% or CGPA 6.0 on scale of 10. Admission will be available based performance of candidates in written exam as well as interview.

Online Application Procedure
- Visit the website : www.getadmission.com
- On Home Page, You will see the link related to "Admission Open Jaypee Institute" and click on it.
- Now go to tab "Ph.D" to apply for Ph.D course and click on "Ph.D-JIIT".
- Now click on tab " Proceed ".
- Register online by entering valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Log In and Fill the application form.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature in specified format and size.
- Make a payment of application fee.
- Submit your application.

Offline Application
- Visit the website : www.jiit.ac.in
- Go to " Admission " section.
- Click on "Ph.D Admission Procedure".
- Now click on " Download Application Form".
- Fill the application form.
- Draw DD of Rs.1000/- in favour of "Jaypee Institute of Information Technology" payable at Noida/Delhi.
- Send application along with required documents and DD to registrar.

- Application Procedure Starts : April, 2017
- Last Date to Submit Application : 30th May, 2017
- Written Exam Date : 10th June, 2017
- Interview of Shortlisted Candidates : 11th June, 2017

Written Exam Pattern
- Questions will be asked from core subjects of relevant master's degree.
- Total Marks : 100
- Exam Duration : 2 Hours
