Complete Procedure to become Chartered Accountant?
I AM A STUDENT OF 10th.I HAVE COMPLETED MY ICSE BOARD EXAMS IN THIS MONTH(26 MARCH)ONLY.SIR, I WANT TO KNOW THE FULL PROCEDURE FOR BECOMING A CA..(ENTRANCE,COACHING,REGISTRATION,PAPERS etc.)

There is no entrance exam for joining CA and 10 passed student can register himself for CA course but to give away the exams of chartered accountancy he/she has to wait till he/she completes hi/her 12th from recognized university. you have to register your self with the ICAI for CPT level. There are 3 level in CA which candidate have to clear to be chartered accountant. Chartered Accountancy is professional who manages company's balance sheet and keep the tax obligation of company as less as possible. Chartered Accountancy are always in required in corporate sector and they can even practice of independently. There are three stages in CA Common Proficiency Test(CPT) IPCC Final examination CA it takes around 4.5 years on whole. After clearing both IPCC (group I & II ) You can appear for final examination CA FEE C A TOTAL fee is around 40000/- to 45000/-. Procedure to become a Chartered Accountant(CA)
To become a Chartered Accountant you will have to complete Chartered Accountancy Course which is a correspondence course conducted by Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI) only, a Government institute. At first you will have to register for the course. Registration form is available on ICAI website. Go to http://icai.org/>>Students>>Course Registration Forms You can register for the course after finishing class 11th. Registration for the course remains open throughout the year. The complete CA course comprises of one basic test and two courses. i.e. Competence Proficiency Test or CPT Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC and Final Course Only a registered student can apply for exams of CA course. The exams (each exam) are generally conducted twice a year (One in June and other in December every year). The advt. for June exam is published in February and for December exam, it is published in August. You can apply for the course exams as instructed in the advt. CPT You can apply for CPT during 12th class or after passing 12th. It is necessary to pass 12th board exam for validation of CPT qualification. After passing the CPT exam you can move to next level of CA course i.e., IPCC. IPCC The IPCC is comprises of Group-A and Group-B. You can apply for Group-A and Group-B at a time or at different times. If you apply for both the groups at a time then after passing the IPCC exam you will have to undergo 3 year Articleship Training. In the last year of Articleship Training, you can apply for CA Final Course exam and with passing the Final course exam, you will be certified as Chartered Accountant. Appearing both the Group A & B of IPCC could be a hectic schedule so if you wish you can join Articleship Training just after passing Group-A and you can appear Group-B anytime between the training period and you can apply for Final course after completion of Articleship training. |

Go to their official website www.icai.org:-> Student :-> Course Registration Forms Pass CPT examination Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Complete 9 months of Study Course. Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT). Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week). Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE). Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years. Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed. Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training. Pass both the Groups of Final examination. Get Final Examination Certificate. Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skill Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant" |

Hi friend,
First you can registered in the ICAI for CPT exam. CA course has three stages IPCC CA-CPT Final you can complete the 12th standard to apply for the IPCC exam. The graduation complete students are eligible for the CPT exam. Final exam also candidate need to complete the Graduation. All the best. |

I completed my Articleship in the year 1992 and appeared for inter exams at least 5 times, since I did not clear I stop writing the exams. Is it possible for me to write inter now? Is there any scope for me to continue CA course.
