i am b tech student.is my computer certificate is nessary for allahabad bank po ?

As per the eligibility criteria defined by Allahabad Bank it is mandatory that student should be Graduate in any discipline with 55% aggregate marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PC) from a Recognized University.

Computer Qualification like diploma in computer operation from reputed organizations like NIIT,SSI,APTECH,CMC,DOEACC is needed.

Age Limits: Minimum: 21 years Maximum: 30 years

Age relaxation applicable as per rules.

But B.Tech CS/IT have already their degree which shows their computer certification so for them no need of any certificate..if you are from CS/IT otherwise you must have any computer course diploma...

one can tell me that the computer course for p.o should be of 6 months or 2-3 month course will also do???

u sld have diploma in computer course which has a duration of one year.

Dear friend

You are eligible to appear for Allahabad P.O exam . You must be between 21 - 30 years of age. If you are a B.E graduate There is no need of certification in computer course.

Here is the eligibility criteria for Allahabad bank PO exam 2011.

-One should be in the age group of 21 -30 years by 01-01-2011

-Must 55% of marks (aggregate) in graduation from a recognized university.

-Computer course certificate from training institute is necessary.

The candidate must be good enough in basis computer knowledge. Because of this, they ask for Computer certificate.

If you have already gone through Computers subject in your background either in 10+2 or graduation, you may not require to produce computer certificate.

It is to be produced at the time of interview by the candidate.

but for the diploma holders applying they should produce the computer certificate for them it is necessary ........
