Hello I am Gayathri,
I am doing final year Bsc Computer science....I want to study Msc Computer science...but everyone says that MCA is better...so I need to clarify that which course is better Msc or Mca?? Please give me suggestion...

Obviously, MCA course is better choice for the candidates after completion of B.Sc in Computer Science.

The duration of M.Sc course is of 2 years and for MCA course, the duration is 3 years.

Many of the companies will prefer hiring MCA candidates rather than M.Sc candidates even though both the courses are at Post Graduation level.

MCA candidates are having good number of job opportunities in various IT Companies like
-TCS
-Infosys
-Wipro
-Mahindra Satyam
-Microsoft
-Google
-Oracle
-IBM etc.

I have seen many of the candidates who are struggling to get Job in IT companies after completion of their M.Sc course in Computer Science.

Soon after the completion of M.Sc in Computer Science, the candidates are shifting towards Teaching Profession.

So, now the ball is in your court. Take wise decision for fruitful career.

The admission to MCA course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

Each and every university will conduct its own entrance exam to give admission for this course.

-NIMCET etc.

i am doing final year bsc. comp sci , i wanted to do MCA .BUT I DONT KNOW WHEN TO GIVE ENTRANCE EXAM THIS YEAR OR THE NEXT YEAR.

i did my B.sc in maths, stats and computer science, now i'm in confuse state bcz i selected for m.sc in stats and also my mca ranking is 59 in karnataka pgcet.
