which cource is better for me after 12th commerce in which i got 90 percent ? and wants to do business from top rated institutes.

So basically you want to do Master in Business Administration. This is what I am being able to make out from your question. If you want to do MBA that too from top colleges of India then first you will have to complete graduation.


You can choose Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) as the course for graduation. The eligibility criteria for BBA varies from college to college. However generally candidate with 50 percent marks in 12th board can seek admission for BBA course. However there are some universities which require candidate to have English as one of the subjects in 12th for BBA admission.


Either BBA or you can choose B.Com since you are a commerce student. You will be able to get admission on merit for B.Com. It would not matter whether you have completed B.Com or BBA. What matters is that you should complete the course with at least 50 percent marks. The more you score that better it would be when applying for admission in top Business schools of the country.


What I am talking about is IIMs which stands for Indian Institute of Management. The admission in IIMs can be taken only after appearing for the Common Admission Test (CAT). To appear for CAT you will have to complete graduation with at least 50 percent marks.


Now you will have to get a good score in CAT exam. Your performance in CAT would play critical role when applying for the admission in IIMs.


If you have scored well in Common Admission Test that apply for the IIM. My recommendation would be to apply for more than 1 IIM at a time. These days some IIMs have changed to pattern to select students.


Apart from CAT score and graduation score, they are also weighting the 10th and 12th performance of the candidate when selecting for the admsision. I believe it would benefit you since you completed 12th with 90 percent.


Now you will have to wait for a call from IIMs. The institute will call you but not for admission but to go through series of tests. Firstly you will have to appear for written test followed by the group discussion and in the end it would be interview. Then only you will get admission in IIMs.
