Which course to choose between medical and commerce in 12th standard to become an Air hostess in future? Can you please advice me with the right suggestion on this? I am really looking forward to reaching my goal. Hope I will get the answer on this soon.

1. The minimum academic qualification for becoming Air Hostess is that you should have done 10+2 in any stream with English as compulsory subject. You can choose any stream either science or commerce.

2. You should have knowledge of Hindi, English and any other foreign language.

3. Generally, female candidates of age between 17-26 is preferred.

4. Minimum height required is 157 cms for Air Hostess.

You are eligible to become an Air hostess after completion of 12th in any stream.

The eligibility to pursue diploma course in Air hostess is that candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream.

The age limit is 17 years and marital status varies with different recruitment agencies.

For pursuing PG in Air hostess course it is necessary to have bachelor degree.

Candidates after completion of course will become eligible to appear in entrance examination conducted by various airlines for recruitment.

There is no limitation on discipline of 12th std for pursuing Air hostess course or for recruitment.

So, you can pursue any course in 12th std according to your choice.

The required qualification to pursue diploma in Air hostess course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

The minimum age limit is 16.5 years ( varies with airlines ). The entrance examination is conducted by airlines for recruitment.

The required physical standard and marital status also varies with airlines.

The examination is conducted in written, GD and personality test. Candidate must have good skill of communication in various language for recruitment.

For becoming an Air Hostess, there is no need to choose any specific stream among Science, Commerce or Arts stream.

Even if you choose PCB or PCM stream, you are eligible to apply for Air Hostess post after completing your 12th studies.

However, if you are choosing Commerce stream for completing your 12th studies then it would be fruitful for you.

As there will be lighter subjects in Commerce and subjects will be related to Commerce like Business Studies, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Economics.

These subjects are indirectly related to Aviation sector. So, they will help you in understanding basics of Airline industry.

You can choose any stream according to your choice or interest.
You will be eligible to become an Air hostess with any stream.

Eligibility criteria to become an Air hostess-

A candidate must be 12th passed with any stream.

A candidate must have minimum 18 years of age and maximum 26 years of age.

Female candidates are eligible.

You must have good knowledge of English and Hindi language.

English must be a main subject in class 12th.

Height should not be less than 152cms.
