The Indian Institutes of Management conducts Common Admission Test-CAT during the month of October-November every year.
The application forms are issued during July-August.

If you want to apply for the upcoming Common Admission Test, you will have to wait for few months and have to watch out for the notification, which will be published during the month of July 2012.

The Notification for CAT Examination ( 2012 ) is not published , So , I suggest you please wait for few month . The Notification for upcoming CAT Examination will be published in official as well as leading news paper during the month of July .

This Examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Management and many other reputed college in our country . The main objective of this Examination is get admission for MBA course in reputed colleges in our country . This Examination conducted by online mode through out the our country .

Syllabus for CAT Examination :-

-Verbal
-Quantitative Ability
-Data Interpretation
-Data Sufficiency
-General Knowledge

If your interested to apply for this Examination then you should complete bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university or equivalent Examination . You should score minimum 50% percentage of marks in graduation and relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidates for Five percentage of marks .

Test Duration and Pattern

The CAT 2011 will have only two sections. The first section is Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second section is Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

CAT Eligibility

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)]

OR

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
