Tripure civil services exam is conducted by Tripura government to recruit candidates for various posts in civil services.

This exam is quite tough and contain following sections:

1. English Essay and Précise Writing of 100 marks for 3 hours
2. English Composition of 100 marks for 3 hours
3. Bengali Composition and Translation or Alternative English of 100 marks for 3 hours
4. General Knowledge and Current Affairs of 100 marks for 3 hours
5. The Constitution of India and the Five Years Plan of 100 marks for 3 hours
6. Three optional papers carrying of 100 marks for each paper for 3 hours.
7. Personality Test of 100

You can choose any three subjects from list of following optional subjects:

1. Bengali
2. English
3. Sanskrit
4. Political Science
5. Economics
6. Philosophy
7. History
8. Education
9. Commerce
10. Mathematics
11. Physics
12. Chemistry
13. Botany
14. Zoology
15. Physiology
16. Psychology
17. Statistics

Tripura civil services exam 2012 is finished and its result is also declared. You an sit for 2013 exam for the same which will be held in May 2013.
