Hi!

I am an ece student of 3rd year and i want to know what are the progressive options for ece students? I want to earn big bucks and do interesting work, but not interested in teaching! would air force suit female engineers?

Thank you so much for the boost sir, I am very passionate about doing something that gives pride to my parents and also I can do something for the country. But I have never participated in sports and never subjected to a hard life either...do you think these factors will hinder my chance of getting into the IAF?

girls students join indian army after graduation.

to join in amry, you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam.

through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army.

the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is

minimum graduation in qualification with 60% marks in btech is required.

age limit 21-29 years.

Yes, girls can even enroll themselves in airforce for these three categories:
1. Flying : Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission for this one should hold a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (india )

2. Ground Duty: You can look forward to a fulfilling career as an officer in the Meteorology Branch.

3. Technical : After you have completed your engineering, you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme.

And besides the usual criteria...what according to you is required to sustain in air force training as far as physical and emotional fitness are concerned?

There's a lot opportunity for girls in armed forces and as u're an ece enginneerin student, u can opt for the technical branch. For that u need to look up in employment newspaper the advertisement is printed every february. U should be having an overall percentage of 60 in ur engineering. besides technical branch u can also go in flying, ground duties that includes admin and accounts section.

You can get into a MNC and earn handsomely.
You can study ahead - according to your area of interest.

There are reservation for girls in IAF. There are different ways to get in IAF.

You can join the Technical Branch of Indian Air Force through Direct Entry Scheme.

these are the many of the exam which are oragnised for the both male and female candidates.

minimum qualification:
you have to graducate in any of the particular approved university...
age criteria :
your age should be in between of 17 to 25 years...

hi..inorder to join airforce there are options like
1. entrance examination AFCAT in the month of march and august.check the website http://careerairforce.nic.in/ .
2.every year there will be fast trac selections also .so u can go for that.
3.there is another examinations held two times in a year-CDS I & CDS II.check the website http://www.upsc.gov.in/
4.there wil give seperate notifications for engineering branch also. for SSB interview..check indian airforce website or else check employement newspaper or check the hindu newspaper.
