Marketing is different from that of sales. Marketing means identifying the nees of customers and then manufcaturing the products in accordance to that.

Selling refers to selling of all the products of organization without knowing the needs of customer.

Marketing focusses on customer satisfaction where as selling focusses on selling of all the products of the organization.

Societal Marketing concept refers manufacturing and marketing of the prodcuts which are well being to society.
