Diploma in Plastics and Mould Technology student can get admission in B.Tech Petrochemical or Petroleum engineering through lateral entry?


Sir I am doing my diploma in plastics mould technology am I eligible to study b.tech in petrochemicals or petroleum engineering by lateral entry which colleges are offering that course please give details please help me...

Yes. You can get lateral entry admission to B.E./B Tech in Petroleum Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering after completion of diploma in plastic mould technology. Some institutes offer such admission, but some of institutes demand diploma in petroleum for lateral entry admission to B.E./B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering. After that, You may also go for M.E./M.Tech in Plastic Technology.
