Do I have to write any entrance test to appear for Ph.D?


I have done M.A. in English & M.A. in Population studies I am interested in doing PH.D. I am in State Govt.Service[Medical Dept].
Do I have to write an Entrance Test to appear for PH.D or do I have to complete M.Phil.?

hi,
yes you have to write entrance exam to appear i Ph.D
it is not necessary to do M.phil before Ph.D

hi,
yes you have to write entrance exam to appear i Ph.D
it is not necessary to do M.phil before Ph.D

is course work necessary for NET qualified and having teaching experiences in degree college about 22years for admission into phd course?
