Elligibility for admission into government engineering colleges of Tamilnadu ?


Dear Sir,

I am a native of Tamil Nadu My father was all along working in Govt. of India, in Kerala, Trivandrum
I am completing my education from I standard to X standard in Kendriya Vidlaya, Pangode, Trivandrum, and XI and XII Higher secondary in Kerala

Am I elligible for admission into Tamil Nadu engineering colleges?

Kindly help me and I will be most thankful to your help.

Yes, you are eligible for admission. Admission to government engineering collages of Tamil Nadu is done on the basis of TNEA. As you have completed your studies in Kerala, you have to prove your nativity. For this you have to enclose the copy of nativity certificate along with the application for TNEA. Application form and other details on TNEA can be collected from the official website of Anna University.

i have studied 8th grade in uae and from 9th to 12 th in chennai .am i eligible for getting admissions in tamilnadu government medical colleges.will i be considered as tamilnadu domicile

what is the minimum age limit repeat minimum age limit for tnea admission for 2013? Is there any waiver certificate or condonation certificate to be obtained for tnea admission if the age is below the requirement? What is the margin by which the required age can be below the criterion?

* You are eligible to apply for the government colleges in Tamil Nadu.

* For this purpose, you will have to appear in the Anna University counselling that conducted every year for the allocation of seats all over Tamil Nadu in both Government and private colleges.

* For this, you will be asked to provide nativity certificate the details of which will be known to you on completely going through the prospectus issued by the university.

* You will will asked to attend a counselling based on the score you have obtained and you will be allocated a seat as per the education department of Tamil Nadu.
