Sir, my DOB -01/01/2000, so please tell me can i apply for SCRA exam 2017 which will be conducted in January 2017?

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

This examination has been scrapped by UPSC and no more conducted. No SCRA will be conducted in 2017. You can check examination calendar of UPSC for 2017 on its official website or 2017 Calendar .

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and now there is no such examination conducted for the recruitment of candidates in Indian Railway.

The examination was conducted by UPSC but from 2016 UPSC had not conducted the examination.

So, I am not able to give you the detail for the eligibility to appear for the examination till the notification for the examination is declared by UPSC.

Union Public Service Commission which earlier used to conduct Special Class Railway Apprentice examination for selection of candidates to pursue Bachelor of Technology from BIT, Mesra and then jobs in Indian Railways has decided to end this examination after receiving recommendation of Ministry of India Railways.

SCRA is not going to be conducted any more neither in 2017 nor in further years.

Now, there is no such examination as SCRA so now we are not able to give you any information about the examination.

So, to get any notification for the further examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

The last SCRA examination was conducted in year 2015.
