sir,i am a student of b.tech 3rd year in ece branch.i have 64% in 10th,79% in 12th and 65% in b.tech till 2nd year.am i eligible for campus placement in infosys ?

dear friend
yes,you are surely eligible for Infosys because so much company demand only overall 60%.that's why you are surely eligible for this company.you only make 60%in B.TECH then you sit in any company.

You are absolutely eligible for not only infosys but also all reputated MNC,because most of the IT company demand 60% overall aggregate in all level,and you have it,so prepare for Aptitude and interview...

try to improve your to as closer as 70 in engineering in the third year exams
also improve your gd skills because there is an gd test in infosys,

The eligibility criteria for Infosys campus placement is 60% in 10th, 12th and in B.Tech and there is no backlog in any Semister. You have more then 60% in 10th, 12th and if in B.Tech your marks is above then 60% then you are eligible for Infosys campus placement. m i eligible for infosys recuitment i got 1st class intermediate and btech except 10th.

INFOSYS didn't mention about any gap criteria

but they need a consistently excellent academic track record.

and percentage criteria is 75% for off-campus

and 65% for on campus!!

and also you should not have any backlogs!!

This year Infosys is demanding freshers having 60% throughout.....

You have a good academic record so need to take any kind of tension.
You are definetely eligible for Infosys.
You should have atleast 60% in your entire academic session,which you have.
So just maintain it.
Also take care that you should not get any backlog in any year.

Ofcourse you are eligible for campus placement not only in Infosys you are also eligible for any other IT companies as IBM, Tech Mahindra etc.
Actually some days recruiteres used to select only those guys and girs who have atleast 60% marks in their IT related degree but now time has changed and skilled students are hired rather than great percentage. So sharp your skills and also carry on to achieve your good percentage int further semesters.

Yes you are eligible to attend placements.... we had TCS, Accenture, Mahindra Satyam and Wipro in campus which does not asked about backlogs but some top end companies like Microsoft, Google etc. do ask for it... so you dont have to worry much... Just do well till your final semester and try to bring to 70% which makes the companies to feel better of you.... ALL THE BEST...

You dont have to be confused about anything... you are cent percent eligible for both on campus and off-campus interview in any type of MNC companies... off campus happens in many places for instance there might be some off-campus happening near your place or city... there wont be any information about off-campus unless your college is been informed by the other college... so its better to have some contacts with other colleges students in your place or city.... thats what we are doing for off-campus.... ALL THE BEST....

Yes, you are eligible for Infosys & TCS , the eligibility criteria for Infosys, TCS and other top MNC companies is to have 60% above throughout your studies that is 10th, 12th and B.E/B.Tech as you have 60% above throughout your studies you are eligible.

POINTS TO NOTE :

-> Study well and get good marks in your 7th sem, because if you are going to get low marks in 7th sem and your overall % drops to below 60% then there will be problem. Just work hard and try to boost up your marks to 70% then it will be plus point in your placements.

-> Concentrate well for this one sem and the future will be yours

Am sorry, you are not eligible for Infosys, because you have to have 60 % above through out your studies that is 10th, 12th and B.E/B.Tech. Its really hard when companies asks for 60 % above through out, but you dont have to worry because there are many small companies with good pay which are ready to provide jobs based on your skills but not with marks. Just try to get in those companies work for 2-3 yrs, gain some experience and jump into big MNC's like Infosys..

NO, infosys doesn't need any distinction in academics for off-campus interview..It has the same eligibility criteria as that for campus placements which as follows..

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INFOSYS :

Candidate should have 60% or more in class 10th, 60% or more in Intermediate / Diploma
and 68% or more in B. Tech / Degree (for MCAs they should have 68% or more in MCA)

All the eligible candidates are supposed to appear for 2 online assessment tests by 10th
January 2011 which would be conducted by JKC

i am in 4th yr b.tech Maharaja Surajmal Insitute of Tech. I have been placed in infosys through campus placement in January 2011 .but i have an uncleared backlog although I can get the B.tech degree on the basis of credits without clearing the one back paper. Am I eligible for joining.
