i am in my final year engineering..hav scored 84% in 10th, 79% in pu and my cgpa is 6.2 for now..have had no backlogs so far! am i eligible for infosys on campus placements?

Eligibility criteria for campus placement in Infosys

1 You must score 65% in the 10th, 65% in 12th, 65% in a degree.
2. You should not have any backlog
3. Maximum one year gap is allowed.

Exams:

Group discussion, Written exam, Interview.

If this eligibility candidates has can be selected. You must have nice communicating skills and you should be honest, don't feel shy. Infosys is one among the best company so try to get placement in infosys.

sir,actually i m student of 7th sem......due to my health problem i was unable to appear one exam in 5th sem.....but i have cleared it through supplementary exam.....bt our college has nt given us the new modified grade sheet...so i m having my previous grade sheet of backlog in that paper....am i eligible for infy?????????????????

INFOSYS didn't mention about any gap criteria

but they need a consistently excellent academic track record.

and percentage criteria is 75% for off-campus

and 65% for on campus!!

and also you should not have any backlogs!!

You can only appear the exam in the final year..
For Infosys you should have 65% of mark through out your career..
you did not say you are in which year, if you have time then try to secure atleast CGPA =7

Then it ll be Safe for you..

ur percentage should be more than 60% and u should not have any backlogs in any subject..so overall u are going quite well..u just have to clear the aptitude test and should have good presentation skills to get the job..all the best

The eligibility criteria for Infosys-

1.You have to score at least 70% in 10th ,12th off campus and 65% for on campus .
2.Good communication skill
3. 65% in BE/B.tech for on campus and 70% for off campus.
4. More that 1 years gap is notallowed.
5. No backlogs are allowed.

So you are eligible for Infosys .They give the 12th more importance so ,I don't think your 10th result can make any problem .

i have done my 10th in 2004 and i have done my 12th in 2006 with biology and i have taken a one yr drop for pre medical test thn in 2007 i have taken maths as an additional subject from cbse board and then finally got the admission in engineering college in 2008..so sir am i eligible fir infosys recruitemnt in my college campus?

Yes you are eligible for Infosys to write the test.

Infosys is a good mnc company which hire more number of students.

They will conduct written test, Technical round and HR round.

IF you qulify in writtentest means Maximum chance you will get a job

I am glad to say you that as you have 64%in 10th, 79% marks in 12th and 65% in graduation (up to 2nd year) which are all more than 60%, so you vey much eligible for Infosys. In this year Infosys wants 65% in on-campussing and 75% in off-campussing throughout a candidate's carrier life. But it varies from collage to collage (for on-campussing). Again if you go for off-campussing then I am quiet sure that you will not eligible.

But don't be panicked or tensed because Infosys is not only the company which set up your carrier you are also eligible for other good small companies. But once you have gained the experienced then you will get chance to big companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS etc.
