Dear,
First for any banks jobs you have to be graduate in any stream and after that your extra qualifications matters. If you are Preparing for bank jobs you must have a graduate dergree and for PO examination it same, but it differ in some of the specialist PO post. The educational qualification and all other details are always mentioned in the Advt. So Prepare yourself. Best of Luck |

Please note that
# You are presently diploma holder and you are looking for appearing for Bank PO Examination. # But you are not eligible for Bank PO Examination. Only grduate candidates are condidered eligible for Bank PO Examination. # Note that diploma is not considered equivalent to degree. Diploma is considered equivalent only to 10+2. # Don't loose heart. You can still apply for Bank Clerk Examination even with present educational qualification. # Now here below, eligibility conditions for Bank PO Examinations: * Graduate in any discipline * 18-30 years of age limit required. * 3 years of age relaxation in upper age for OBC category. * 5 years of age relaxation in upper age for SC/ST category * 10 years of age relaxation in upper age for Persons with Disability # Here below, eligibility conditions for Bank Clerk Examinations: * 10+2 with 55% marks in any discipline * 18-28 years of age limit for UR category * 18-31 years of age limit for OBC category * 18-33 years of age limit for SC/ST category * 18-38 years of age limit for Physically Handicapped category. |

Hi,
You are not eligible for Bank PO after finishing you diploma as this does not satisfy the academic qualification for Bank PO. To become a Bank PO you have to appear in IBPS PO exam. Eligibility for Bank PO: --> Candidate have to complete graduation in any discipline.Candidate who are in final year of graduation can also apply. --> Candidate must have age in between 21 to 30 years. --> Computer knowledge is mandatory. I will suggest you to join B.Tech after diploma and after finishing B.Tech you can apply for Bank PO. SELECTION PROCESS in IBPS PO: * Written Test. * Personal Interview. All the best. |

Yes , you are eligible for bank jobs being done your diploma as it is equivalent to 12th board but you have to first complete your graduation degree with any stream of your choice from a recognized university .
For becoming a bank probationary officer your age must be within 21 years to 30 years where as for bank Clerk it must lie between 20 years to 28 years .Also , in both the cases there is provision of age relaxation as per government rules . Therefore at first go for graduation and then for your goal . |

The Bank Probationary Officer (PO) is an executive post for which there is a special eligibility criteria required for this...
*The candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university *The candidates should be of age 20 - 30 years. There is a age relaxation for sc/st & obc candidates There are many banks now those who takes their own exam like SBI is one of them.. And other Is IBPS which is conducted as a merged of of banks.
