I'm 41 years and 7 months old. Can I apply for Permanent Commission (Special List) (PC SL)? What should be the essential qualification required for General Duty Soldiers?

Eligibility criteria for PCSL:-

Age:-
Maximum age 40 years, 45 years for Engineers, 45 years for IOB
Minimum service- 10 years

Qualification- Matric and Above

Marital Status- Unmarried / Married serving JCOs / NCOs
Excluding Sepoys

Qualification for General Duty Soldiers:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational qualification required:-

SSLC/ Matric with 45%marks and 33% in each subject.

No percentage required for higher qualificationi.e. is plus 2 and above.

Age limit :-
17.5 to 21 years.

Physical standard:-

Height - 167 cms
Chest- 77 cms
Weight- 48 kg
Vision in both eyes- 6/6.
