Sorry, it is not possible to get a job in banking sector after 12th commerce group. The aspirant should study at least a graduation in any discipline to pursue his career in the banking field. The B.Com is one of the best suitable courses after 12th commerce to get a job in banking industry. The candidate can also study BBA or BBM after 12th commerce stream. A graduation is a must for banking Clerks and Probationary Officer posts. So complete graduation and then apply for various bank examinations like IBPS, SBI PO etc.

After completion of 12th standard, you can't apply for jobs in Banking sector.

The minimum educational qualification required for Bank PO and Clerk exam is graduation degree from a recognized University.

Your age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

If your query is regarding to join the banking jobs you are not eligible to appear for any such examination for recruitment in banking jobs after 10+2.

To appear for banking examination minimum required qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline. The age limit varies with the examination and post.

So, you have to wait till bachelor degree to appear for examination. For more information about examination visit at www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in.

It's good to see that you are interested to make your career in Banking field. Baking is the one of the prominent sectors at present and future career. Most of the candidates are looking forward to make their career in Banking field, hence there is heavy competition to get a Banking job. Those who are interested to make their career in Banking field, must appear and qualify in the IBPS exam conducted by the Common Written exam (CWE).

But, you are not eligible for the Banking exam after completing 12th standard. Only those who completed their Graduation are eligible for both the IBPS Clerk and PO exam. Since, you have completed 12th standard in Commerce stream, So I suggest you to prefer B.Com or BBA at Graduation level, which will help to crack the IBPS exam good marks. And please give more preference to the subjects like, Accounts, Statistics, Management related subjects etc.

You have to complete your graduation in order to work in a bank. Graduation can be done in any stream. Along with graduation you have to prepare for bank exams. Self preparation or coaching centre training can be selected for studies. Questions on QA, Reasoning, GK etc will be asked for bank exams.

After doing graduation you have to prepare for IBPS exam. IBPS exam is divided into two categories:

> IBPS Clerk for clerk post.
> IBPS PO for po post.

After passing IBPS exam with good marks you will be called for interview.

If you want a banking job then you must have a degree first. Hence, you should take admission in a degrees course first and then after completion you can apply for exams like IBPS PO and Clerk.

Selection will be on the basis of performance in written exam and interview conducted by IBPS. Selection will be in merit, so be prepared for the exam according to the pattern of the exam.

The minimum academic qualification required to appear for bank clerical or probationary officer examination is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for banking common written examination.

Candidates who have done 10+2 from any stream are not eligible for any banking entrance examination. You can appear for banking job entrance exams after bachelor's degree only. In final year of your bachelor's degree, you can apply for banking job exams like IBPS Common Written exam for clerk and Probationary officer.
