Eligibility for PO after 45% in Graduation and 65% in PG in Mass Communication?
I have scored 45% in graduation and 65% in post graduation diploma in mass communication.Am I eligible for the post of Probationary Officer exam?

Most probabily you won't be eligible for Bank's PO examination. Minimum educational qualification to appear in this examination is to be graduate with minimum 55 to 60% marks in graduation. Even for SC/ST/OBC candidates it would be around 50 to 55% marks in the same. So you cannot appear for the PO examination.
But you can appear for Bank's clerical aptitute examination for which the requirement is to be 40 to 50 % marks in graduation. |

Yes you are eligible for the same. You will mostly be eligible for the nationalised sector. But after taking a Master sin Mass Communication going into the field of banking would mean deviation from what you have studied. You must be sure that you are selecting the stream based on your interest. If yes then you must prepare well for the exam.

Eligibility criteria for Bank job:-
For Bank P.O: Age limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 30 years for general category candidates For OBC 3 years relaxation For SC/ST/Ex- service personnel 5 years For physically handicap 10 years Educational Qualification: Graduate with minimum 55% marks aggregate from recognized University. For CLERK in Bank: Age limit: Minimum 18 years – Maximum 28 years for general category For OBC 3 years relaxation For SC/ST/Ex- service personnel 5 years For physically handicap 10 years Educational Qualification: 12th passed or equivalent with 55%. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MAXIMUM BANKS :
AGE LIMIT: age limit between 21-30 years. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION : Candidates should have got 60% aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates must have a knowledge of computers and must be familiar with MS office. SBI ELIGIBILITY : 55% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 50% aggregate marks in Graduation. Allahabad Bank Candidate must not be more than 30 years Candidate must be graduated in any discipline with minimum of 55% aggregate from a Government recognized University. |

Eligibility criteria :
Age limits : The Age Should Between 21 To 30 yrs. The candidate Must have done graduation with at least 55% marks. And The Eligibility criteria are vary from bank To bank. And The candidate must have the Basic banking Knowledge. And The Candidate Must have good Computer Knowledge. |

P.O. - Probationary Officer, the exam for which is generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public Sector Banks.
As you are having Graduation Degree and above, you are eligible for Bank P.O. exam conducted by SBI and IBPS as there is no percentage of marks criteria in any level of education, only a pass in Graduation is sufficient to apply for the same. Eligibility for SBI/IBPS P.O. Exam:- -The eligible candidate must be an Indian National. -Should have completed Graduation Degree or above in any stream from a recognised University. -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. -Should be a computer literate one. The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview. Some private banks required percentage of marks as a criteria 60% or more marks in Graduation Degree in order to apply for P.O. exam conducted by their respective banks. |
