Re: Which engineering course would be better for getting high salary after 2015?
Getting a good job with salary depends on lots of factors not just engineering branch.
If can take any branch of your interest but if you remain in low scorer of your batch than chances of getting good are very low. Some companies also look at your 10th, 12th marks along with extra curricular activities. As a general advice, engineering branches like computer science, electrical, civil & chemical have more job opportunities than others. |

Mechanical Engineering has always opportunities, as a mechanical engineer you will get to design, analysis, manufacture and maintain anything that moves!
Entry-level salaries range from about Rs 1.3 lakh to Rs 3.15 lakh per annum. Pay hikes depend on your performance and any additional skills you acquire. Recruiters include ISRO, DRDO, Indian Railway, ABB, TATA Motors, General Motors, Fiat, Reliance Industries, Reliance Power Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra etc. Best institutes (apart for the IITs and NITs) include ISM (Indian School of Mines) University, Dhanbad, Glocal University, Uttrakhand, BITS Pilani. |
