To be eligible to study B.E course after completion of your Diploma Engineering course, you have to appear in lateral entry examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. By qualifying the entrance examination and participating in the counselling process, you will be offered admission in second year of four years B.E course.

Entrance exam for BE course after Diploma Engineering
You can appear for Lateral entry entrance exam (LEET). Lateral entry scheme is made for admission into Bachelors degree course for meritorious diploma candidates directly to 2nd year of Bachelor course to pursue Engineering. Most of the top universities have Lateral Entry scheme for diploma holders. They have a fixed number of seats for diploma students. |

Re: Entrance exam to study BE after Diploma Engineering? Chances to get admission in Military Engineering college?
Hello friend,
If you are a diploma holder and want to pursue engineering then you are automatically entitled to get admission in 2nd year of the Engineering that means you can totally skip your first year exam and directly get admission in the second year. For this you have to lateral engineer entrance exam. This exam is conducted by the Technical University of that respective state and once you clear the exam then you can complete your counselling and based on your preference and marks you will be allotted the college and you can join the college directly in the second year. If you want to complete the course part time then while choosing the college, you have to make sure that you choose college which provides this facility. Military Engineering college does not provide any facility for part time engineering as of now. Hope it will help |
