My name is Christina and I'm going to qualify 12th this year. My weight is 49 kg and height is 156cms. My eye sight is perfect on the right eye but, my left eye had the power of -2.75 but, I can manage without glasses nor lenses like I always do because my right eye is perfect. Can I become an Air Hostess? If not, than what are the jobs I can get in an airport?

Eligibility to Apply for Air hostess:-

• To apply for air hostess applicant must have perfect eyesight that is 6/6.
  
• Minimum educational qualification required to become air hostess is 10+2 with degree in hospitality or any other graduation degree.
  
• Only unmarried applicants are allowed to apply for air hostess.
  
• To become air hostess applicant must be eligible for an Indian passport.
  
• Age limit to apply for air hostess training is 18 to 26 years.
  
• You must have mastery in spoken English or any other foreign language.
  
• Minimum height required to apply for air hostess training is 157.5 cm.
  
• To apply for air hostess training you must posses fair and clear complexion.

Yes, you are eligible to become cabin crew as most of the leading airlines have following basic requirements :

- Height : Must be greater than or equal to 155cm.

- Weight : Should not be less than 50kg and must be according to the height.

- Eye Sight : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in other and free from colourblindness.

- Educational : Must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised board.

Apart from Air Hostess, you can work in various ground duties.

- Ticketing Counter.

- Airport Cargo Manager

- Flight Attendant

Eyesight should be 6/24 vision in each eye to be eligible for an Air Hostess.
