Respected Sir, I have completed my class 12th and now I wish to become an Air Hostess but I have a weak eyesight. I want to know am I eligible to become an Air Hostess with weak eyesight? If yes then please tell me how?

Weak eyesight has some eligibility criteria to get it pored weak. Everyone's eyesight has some limitation. You must have specified your eyesight power. Normal is 6/6.
So, if it is more or less to the normal eyesight, then it can be cured by following some meditation or medication.

So, i will suggest you to consult with doctor and get it back to the normal eyesight.
Parallel to this you can do yoga which will also help you to retain back your default eyesight.

In order to become an air hostess you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

> You must have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with hotel/tourism management degree. Mostly graduate candidates are preferred.

> Your age should not exceed the age of 27 years.

> You must have normal eyesight that is 6/6.

> Unmarried female candidates are preferred.

As you are having a weak eyesight, so you are not eligible to become an air hostess, because you wont be allowed to wear glasses or if you do any kind of operation then also you won't be allowed. You can wear contact lenses, but the power should be up to -2 diopters.

Candidates are required to complete 12th standard or graduation degree from a recognized board or university.

Your age should be below 25 years.

Your eye sight must be in 6/6 without glasses.

My eyesight power is -3.5. Can I clear the eligibility criteria for becoming an air hostess?

Eligibility Criteria

Mastery in spoken English and other foreign languages as required
18 - 26 years of age
10+2 with degree in hospitality, or other graduate degree
Height of min 157.5 centimetres,Weight proportionate to the height
Eligible for an Indian Passport
Unmarried
Perfect eyesight
Good health
Fair to clear complexion
6/24 vision in each eye
