What is the format of the question paper in Indian Air Force Examination??

In IAF The Written test will be Objective type and Question Paper will be In English And Hindi Except English Paper. Duration of written test will be 60 minutes for
Group ‘X’ Trades and 45 minutes for Group 'Y'. Part A- Multiple Choice Questions- English and General Awareness 30 Questions With a Duration Of 20 Minutes. Part B- Descriptive Test in English- Three Questions - One Comprehension passage with 5 Questions, one letter writing and One paragraph writing With A Duration Of 30 minutes. IAF exam has-- The Written test includes only Objective type . If you are interested to join Indian Air force as an Airman in 'X' or 'Y' trade. Then the pattern of question paper will be as follows: 1. Question Pattern for group'X'. ENGLISH I. Comprehension II Composition III Grammar IV. Idioms and Phrases V. Direct / Indirect sentences : Narration change VI. Active and Passive Voices PHYSICS MATHEMATICS The duration of exam is of 45 miniutes. 2.Question Pattern for group 'Y'. ENGLISH I. Comprehension II Composition III Grammar IV. Idioms and Phrases V. Direct / Indirect sentences : Narration change VI. Active and Passive Voices REASONING AND GENERAL AWARENESS (RGA) (A) Reasoning (Verbal and Non-Verbal) (B) Mathematics (C) GK and CA The duration of paper is of 45 minutes. So in the above pattern the questions are asked for the selection in Indian Air force. I have also attached a sample paper which is helpful for you for the preparation of the exam. GOOD LUCK |

IAF is the Indian Air Force examination. Both of final year and pre-final year engineering students are taken in by the IAF as Permanent Commission Officers in the Technical Branch. The selections are made as per the provisions of University entry scheme.
nontechnical students are also recruited through IAF examiantion. for technical student the question paper mainly consist of general awareness, general english and technical paper. for nontechnical student question paper consists of general awareness, general knowledge and english. go through the notification carefully to know the other details. best wishes. |

Well the examination is going to have questions from english and GK
Part A- English and General Awareness 30 Questions With a Duration Of 20 Minutes.(MCQ) Part B- One Comprehension passage with 5 Questions one letter writing One paragraph writing With A Duration Of 30 minutes. Then there will be a personal interview. And yes IAF conducts one test its some kind of aptitude test which you can give only once in your life ... if you fail it you can nevr make it to IAF. If you want to join IAF as an officer then you have to give either AFCAT or CDS exam after graduation.
Format of both the exams is almost same except some changes. AFCAT is little bit easier as compared to CDS. Both the papers comprise english (comprehension, synonymous and antonymous, and vacobulary), general mathematics, mental ability and reasoning type questions. After clearing the exams you would have to face SSB (Staff Selection Board) which is the most difficult step in wholf process.
