Full information about CLAT? What is the criteria?


Hello sir,I want to know the full informatin about CLAT such as its fees(yr wise),branches,job availability,scholarships for SC candidate its criteria and total seats category wise.reply soon

CLAT is stands for Common Law Admission Test .This exam is conducted for admission for LLB & LLM course .

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks then you are eligible to attend in CLAT exam for admission in Under graduate course .

If you want to apply for Post graduate course , then you must have BL or LLB degree with above 55% marks .

The candidate age should not be more than 20 Years for under graduate course .

Pattern for CLAT LLB Course is given below-


Total Marks for CLAT:200 marks, Total Questions:200

1). English including Comprehension(40 Marks)
2). General Knowledge/Current affairs(50 Marks)
3). Elementary Mathematics(20 Marks)
4). Legal Awareness(45 Marks)
5). Reasoning(45 Marks)

Pattern for CLAT LLM Course is given below-

Law of Contracts
Law of Torts
Family Law
Criminal Law
Constitutional Law
Legal Theory
Number of Questions:

Objective Type - 50 questions of one mark each.

Short Answers - 10 questions of five marks each

Essay - Two questions of 50 marks each.
