Eligibility Criteria :

Academic qualification :12 th standard pass with PCM.
Age :19 to 23 years.
Height :minimum 165 cm.
Weight :65 Kg minimum.
Eyesight :6/6 and should have no color blindness.
Nationality :Indian.

If you are interested to join Indian Army please fulfill these above criteria.Ithink you have it.

you can join indian army but not conducted by upsc. you can apply for open rally conducted by district level by the units. you can apply for sepoy ranks in g.d.

TWO WAYS TO JOIN ARMY

NDA
National Defense Academy

NDA Entrance examination is conduct by UPSC twice a year.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA

10+2 PASSED or EQUIVALENT qualification.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

HEIGHT - 160(+)(-) according to the region where you are born.

WEIGHT - 50(+)(-) according to the height

CHEST - 77 (around)

following test carry 100 marks

1. 1 miles run within the limit time .
2. some pull ups
3. some balance
4. 9 feet ditch

AND

3 STAGES TO BE CLEARED

1.WRITTEN EXAM conduct by UPSC

written exam consist questions on mathematics and on general ability

2.INTERVIEW conduct by SSB

interview is there to analysis your personality and intelligence

3.MEDICAL EXAM conduct by SMB

medical exam to see that whether you are physically fit.

IF YOU CLEAR ALL THE STAGE YOU WILL BE RECRUIT IN TO INDIAN ARMY.

CDSE selection process is of 3 stages:

1. Written Exam (conduct by UPSC)

2. SSB Interview ( CONDUCT by Services Selection Board) Interview

3. Medical Test (conduct by SMB)

CLEARING ALL THE STAGES TAKES YOU TO THE INDIAN ARMY.

There are also other ways to Indian army where engineer,doctor and others can join Indian army.

You can join Indian Army in two ways- one through NDA and other through CDS both are conducted by UPSC twice every year.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY if you are an unmarried Indian male within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age and have either appeared for or passed 10+2 final exam from any stream, you can apply for Indian Army of NDA.

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE if you are an Indian national within the age of 19 to 23 years having either appear for final graduation degree course or passed from any stream can apply for Indian Military Academy of CDS.

to join India Army You have to Give The Exam of National Defence Academy(NDA) conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility -

Education-12th passed

Marital status - Unmarried

To get into Indian Army after completion of 12th, you have to appear in NDA exam..

Through NDA exam you can Join in Indian Army..

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

1.Candidate has to complete the 12th in any trade.

2.candidate who is appearing for board exam can also apply for NDA exam.

3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

5.Candidate should be physically fit.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

Indian Army Vacancy details:
Total no. of posts: 58 posts
Name of the Posts:
1. NCC Men: 50 Posts
2. NCC Women: 08 Posts

Age limit: The age limit is between 19-25 years for NCC (Including wards of battle causalities)

Educational qualification: Candidates may see Advt for more details regarding educational qualifications.

Selection procedure: The mode of selection is through Physical & Medical Test/Psychological Test/Group Test/and interview basis.

How to apply: The eligible candidates have to apply through prescribed format, along with all necessary certificates attested in closed envelop to nearest NCC office form where C certificate has been issued. Armed forces serving applicants must send a copy to OC, NCC Unit, and another to DG, NCC, West Block-IV, RK Puram, New Delhi-110066.

Note: Another copy of the print out application form keep it for future reference (SSB interview).
