Is GCE ( General Certificate of Education ) ordinary level qualifications available in india,chennai ?
hey guys .....
m actually new to this forum and i just need a small help... and i hope i would get some reponse frm you guys.... well ...right now m studying in singapore going to finish my 10th class by november 2010 and i want to continue studying in india(chennai) again by joining course studies ....... so wat are the courses are available in chennai...??? and will i get in by my singapore 10th "O" level exams results ????? plz let me know... even a part time course is fine for me ... plz help...

Yes dear why not...........!
Surely you are eligible to study in India. According to EDCIL and as per DASA scheme, any candidate who is GCE "O" Level Qualified with four subject will be Recognised as a "Metriculation" in India. So, before enrolling for Anu Bachelor degree first you have to complete your +2 then only you can go for it, Otherwise not. There is no part time +2 scheme in India. However, if so you can enroll for the same from NIOS. Regards ~Faiyaz~

hey buddy ,
yes you can apply for any course in india... and i will suggest you not to opt for part time because you cannot lern that much in your part time .. so better go for full time...

hi yeah princeshona sure your are eligible there are many universities an colleges in Chennai giving admissions for the 'o' level certificate....so you can try off.... Chennai has many colleges now and even i stay in Chennai... so finish off your 10th and come Chennai start your studies....

Dear friends one of my distant relative had completed her N(A) level of education in Singapore and now her parents want to enroll her in India for further education. The problen is that I don't know what here is equivalent to 'n' level of Singapore? Is it 10th level?

which of these is in the indian educational system is equivalent to the singapore GCE O level--10th standard or 12th?
