Eligibility Criterion for Two Year Full Time MBA & MBA (International Business)

Only Indian resident nationals are eligible for this course. Candidates who have completed three year graduation in any discipline from a recognized University after higher secondary education are eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed graduation in full time/ regular mode. They have to secure a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate in qualifying examination.

Eligibility Criterion for Five Year Full Time MBA

Candidates who have successfully completed higher secondary education under State Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any appropriate authority are eligible for this course. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate in qualifying examination. Foreign students can also apply for this course. Such candidates should clear any of the following criteria mentioned below.

• GCE Examination of UK with pass grades in five subjects at the Ordinary level
• High School Graduation from an accredited institution of USA
• Those who have cleared International Baccalaureate Examination of Geneva

Any other criteria specified by the Academic Council

Admission process for M B A in Vellore Institute of Technology

Admission to the courses is based on the national level entrance exams such as CAT / XAT / MAT / GMAT. In addition to this, candidates should have consistent academic performance. Preference will be given candidates who have work experience at Managerial level. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion and personal interview. Final selection will be on the basis of composite scores obtained by the candidates in qualifying exam, entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.

Apart from this, candidates who pursue MBA in International Business are required to pay Rs. 45,000/- at the time of admission for Overseas Experiential Learning Programme.
