sir,
i hv completed my intermediate nw. im interested in doing environmental engineering... but for some reasons, i'll not be able to do this course...
so, i was thinking, can i do m.tech in environmental engg after i complete my b.tech in civil engg??? is that possible??? if so, please suggest me some good colleges for m.tech in environmental engg. in india...preferably in andhra pradesh..
please let me know your suggestion as early as possible....

STEPS TO BE TAKEN TO DO AN MASTERS COURSE IN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING:
1.you should prepare for the gate examination and if you want to take admission in the best colleges mentioned above then you have to get an rank of at least below 500 if you are an general category student
2.also you have to do really well in the interview conducted by some of the colleges mentioned above because they give lots of importance to it and there are many instances that students getting really great ranks in the gate examination fail in the interview

M.Tech in Environmental Engineering is a two year post graduation engineering course.

The eligibility criteria are:

* Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)

* B. Tech./BE in any discipline or M. Sc. in Environment Science/ M. Sc. in Organic Technology with minimum 60% marks

So you are eligible if you have 60% throughout. Though some universities does not need any percentage criteria.
