Iam a student of biotech,i want to what should i choose either M.Sc.Biotech/ M.Sc.Microbiology/M.Sc.Genetics/M.Sc.Biochemistry? which has higher scope for jobs in future?

nowadays biotech has vital scpe so MSc. in biotech is the best option these dayz

Because after completing this course you can join any research center.

After completing M.sc biotech. you can get good jobs with high salary pacakage.

you may choose any feilds regarding but it should be depend on your interests, all the feilds are good themselves to brigthen your future.
but from my side you should go for genetics as its new and exploring throught overseas.
mostly it is related to health services you may be emmployed in hospitals,pharmaceutical companies, universities.
opportunities has increased in food and drink companies, health and beauty care, biotech and research consultancy services.

msc biotech is definetly better choice than msc in microbio

Hey I have seen real examples, no successful person who has done biotech I know 5 jobless people at least.

I personally think that for now Microbiology will be a better option I am saying this because I know many people who have done biotech and are jobless they are now going abroad for better future, Biotech scope is not good in india at the moment

actually 2 be frank i tell all u people dat m.sc biotech has no scope

msc microbiology is evergreen.it has more no of oportunities than rest of al.

MSc Biotechnology candidates can find opportunities in Pharmaceutical Companies, Food Processing Industry, Dairy, Brewery, Cheese, Baked Products, Fertilizers and Chemical Companies. Microbiology includes Microbiologists, Technical or science writer, water companies and the Environment Control and Monitor Agency, Pharmaceutical companies. Food and Drug Control Department.-Expert of quality control. Sales and marketing departments of microbial products, Municipal/Corporation or public works departments are some of the areas where microbiologists are required. It depends on your personal interest because both courses are equally good.

you must choose biotech because now a days it is having very good scope than the rest you listed. also it will become easy to study for you because you have already studied the same subject.

hey guys microbiology is the best option. biotech has become like mba,lot of people in this field.
microbiology is booming with new food industries and outbreak of swine flu,bird flu etc.
my name is faraz and im doing msc microbiology from bangalore university,i wil tell u a recent story,a big pharma company came for placements and the teachers forwarded msc biotech students for campus interview,u wil be surprised to know that the company sent them back and askked for miicrobiology studnts bcoz they know aseptic techniques more better. so moral of the story is be a master of one and not jack of all trades.
biotech dont have any good scopes and its not a mother subject,they consist of subjects like cell biology,microbiology,biochemistry,physiology etc.
be the master of microbiology appear for net and gre,get urself qualified,start from junior research assistant,you can become a director of any big companies or research centers.always aim big everything is possible.study for knowledge not money! success wil chase you if u have knowledge.

depens on your interest biotech is good for reserch,pharma company,foodcompany. but with micro you can get job in hospitals ,diagnostic labs,company also. phd can be done in both to be lecturer

As of now, since biotech is in a blooming state and its scope in India is not that good, go for Micro biology. Even taking biotech is not bad because it gives you a thorough knowledge of different subjects like genetics, cell biology, micro biology etc. Still, go for microbiology now in order to prevent yourself from being unemployed.

Now a days both the fields are growing at a faster rate

Msc microbiology has got various job opportunities than the only msc marine biotech has scopes in india that to in andaman and pondicherry side.....if u want to persue ur career in biotech den u need to go abroad.....den u will havw scopes....u have better career options for msc chemistry and microbiology.....coz microbiology consists of all biochemistry,chemistry,bioinformatics,medical and biotech topics....so u vl have great scopes in msc microbiology field..........

CAREER PROSPECTS IN GENETICS

By this time you must have made your mind in which filed you would like to go for?. All the above fields are in much demand in India as well as in UK and USA and the pay scale is very attractive in all four fields. In India you may start from 18k and rise upto lacs once you can experience and in countries like Uk and USA you will be getting 20lacs p.a as a fresher. Choose which suites you intrest.
