Re: How to apply for bank clerk exam having completed 12th?
There is no way for you to appear for Bank Clerk exam as for now. You are not meeting the educational criteria to be eligible for the Clerk exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services.
While earlier the students after passing 12th standard were eligible to appear for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam. Such is not the case anymore. Now you must have at least graduation degree to appear for the exam. Apparently this change was requested by the participating banks. There are 19 public sector banks that participates in this exam. If you want to appear for it , then I will suggest you to continue with the studies. You will have to complete any graduation degree to get banking job. Otherwise there is no way to appear for the Clerk exam. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. Exam is open for Indian students only. 2. Any graduation degree is sufficient to apply. 3. You don't need to meet any percentage criteria. 4. Diploma or degree in Computers is also required. If not Computers/IT should be subject during your high school or college studies. 5. Must be able to fluently speak official language of the state where you want job. 6. Only candidates between 20 to 28 years are allowed. 7. OBC can appear for exam till 31 years. 8. SC/ST student is eligible till 33 years. 9. While PWD can appear till 38 years. |

Re: How to apply for bank clerk exam having completed 12th?
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Bank Clerk exams after completion of your 12th class.
The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for Bank Clerk Jobs is Graduation. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview In the case of private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own written exam for the candidates to hire for these positions. But in public sector, there is a single written exam for all the public sector banks which is IBPS Clerk Exam going to be conducted by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) The written exam consists of questions from the following categories. Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge There is negative marking for wrong answer questions in the written exam which is 1/4th in the sense for every 4 wrong answers you commit, one mark from the actual marks you scored will be deducted. As a part of eligibility, You should have completed your Graduation with any of the stream and should be in the age group of 20-28 years, So, I suggest you to join Graduation first and complete it successfully. Carry out your preparation for Bank Exams along with your Graduation. Then you will easily get the job. Wish you all the best. |
