You should either give GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or TANCET (TAmilNadu Common Entrance Test).Every year , Anna University conducts counselling for PG seats around May or June or July. It releases 3 rank list , after it conducts TANCET ( TAmil Nadu Common Entrance Test) . 1st rank list is for gate qualified candidates. 2nd rank list is based on TANCET scores.3rd list is for departmental candidates. Finally , the PG( ME / MTECH) classes tentatively commence by September after all the admission procedures.Based on your score in a particular exam ( TANCET/GATE) ,you can get a seat in any colleges under Anna University .
