NET(NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST),UGC conducts NET twice a year,
i.e., in the months of June and
December. The notifications
announcing the June and
December examinations are
published in the months of March and September
respectively in the weekly
journal of nation-wide
circulation, viz, Employment
News.

If you have complete post graduation with 55% marks or final year student
of post graduation then you can apply for NET exam.

Net exam conduct by UGC every year two time in month of june and december for JRF and Lecturership.

Notification comes in month of march and september.

you can apply online only from this link -- http://www.ugcnetonline.in/

There is no upper age limit for lecturership.

For JRF age limit is maximum 28th year(relaxation for reserve category).

NET -National Eligibility Test


Details about NET Exam:

This exam is being conducted by University of Grants Commission.This exam is being held every year.This exam is conducted twice namely in the months of June and December

This exam is conducted for candidates to lectureship or to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

You need to write 3 papers in order to pass the exam.

• Paper I for 100 marks
• Paper II 100 Marks
• Paper III 200 Marks

Eligibility Needed:

Candidate need to be a citizen of India

Candidates must have completed Post Graduation and must have secured with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition.

Even Final year candidates can apply for the NET Exam

The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 35 years which is the maximum age limit. There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates


Procedure to Apply:

To apply online before the specific date announced by UGC. 2 print outs of filled in online application form, exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificate(s) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

For this exams you have to purse a bachelor degree and your age not less than 21 and not more than 30 years.
You obtain application form by post office by paid application fees. UPSC also give facility to apply online. there
is no percentage is required for this exam, all the detail are availiable in website of UPSC.

So you will apply for this exam next year in the first week of february month.
