SET is a state level competitive exam. The exam is carried to select candidates lecture post at the state level. Post graduation is necessary qualification required to attend the test. The exam is based on the syllabus of the PG course undertaken by the candidate. The candidate can also expect questions on GK and child psychology.

Must hold a B.Ed degree awarded by recognized university. There is no maximum age limit to apply for the exam. The notification for the upcoming test has not been yet announced as the SET 2011 has been recently conducted on 25-09-2011.
