I am Khushbu. Kakkad, a student of chemical engg 3rd yr from st.gadge baba amravati university,Amravati(maharashtra). I secured 74% in the last sem and i want to apply for summer training in ONGC. so plzz can you guide me abt norms and conditions and how to apply for the same??

How to apply for Summer training in ONGC for 3rd year B.Tech (chemical engineering) student?

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is a state-owned oil and gas company in India. It is a Fortune Global 500 company ranked 413 and contributes 77% of India's crude oil production and 81% of India's natural gas production.
If you want to do your summer training in ONGC then get a letter regarding summer training from head of your institution with seal and contact to the ONGC HR department they will provide you a summer/Industrial training form you have to filled up and submit if you get select then they will provide you training with stipend or without stipend with lodging and fooding.

to apply for training in ONGC first you have to contact with the training office of ONGC. from their collect their specified format to apply for training from there. also know the information about the training and procedure.

after that contact with your institution training cell. from there collect a training letter addressing to ONGC office. for more information about training letter contact with your institution training cell. then submit the application form along with the training letter from the institution to the ONGC office. if you are selected for training then they will confirm you.


if you have any relative working in ONGC and if he refer you then it will be very much easy for you to get chance for the training. there are so many application submitted to the ONGC office for training each year. but only few are selected for job.so it is difficult to join their training without any reference. till if you don't have nay reference apply for the training they may select you.

-->First get the Implant training Certificate from the College,if you have more the 75% in your Aggregate then you can get easily

-->Then send the Certificate to ONGC Administration , if you have any relation there then no problem you can get it easily otherwise there is lot of steps needed

*Get the sign from your Head of department then give that to ONGC Manager Chemical Department and then they will send that to ONGC Administration and then they will call you to join if you have all Eligibility (Try to have 3 to 4 members in the group)

*They will send the Application Format fill that form and they will send the date of joining

*After you send the letter to the ONGC Administartion,for conformation send the comment on this link

To get internship at PSU like ONGC is very difficult task.
There are only two option:
1. First contact the placement and training office of you college, they may help you get internship easily rather than applying yourself at ONGC website.

2. If you have any relative , friend or any other contact , they may help you to get internship.
