Re: How to become a collector? Which exam should be given for it?
I am pleased with your interest in becoming the collector. There is no special examination for the collector as there is common examination as the Civil services examination conducted by the UPSC every year.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is :- * Candidate must have passed the graduation from the recognised university. * Candidate age must be between 21-30 years and relaxation in the age for the reserved category candidate. There is no special eligibility regarding the height as you only need to qualify in the all the three stages of the examination. The three stages are :- * Preliminary. * Mains. * Interview. To qualify in the examination you need to do the hard work and have the better knowledge. First of all I suggest you to go through the NCERT books form the Std VII-XII. There is no restriction on the selection of the optional paper but go through the one in which you have the best knowledge try to go through the English national daily newspaper. For more information visit at the official website www.upsc.gov.in. |
