you can become a inspector in CBI by appearing for the central level competitive examination .

The exam is held once in a year .

The blank application form is published in the Employment Newspaper.

The eligibility criteria are as follows :

1] educational Qualification : Degree of any recognised University or equivalent .

2] Age : 20 to 25 years

age relaxation in respect of SC/ST , OBC and other categories is as per the goverment rules .

Exam Pattern :

The exam is held in two phases :

Written --- 400 marks

Interview ---- 100 marks

Since you are doing M.Sc , you can surely apply for this exam on the basis of your graduation .

cbi exam is conducted by ssc.
for this you should be graduate with 50 % of marks .
your age between 21 to 28 year
reelection according govt. ruls .
you should be good health and height and very presence of mind for this job.

You have to qualifythe written test as well. 3. 1. First of all lets have a look towards the eligibility criteria :-

1. You should be a graduate

2. 20-27 years of age

3. 3 years relaxation to those who are from OBC

4. 5 years relaxation for SC and ST category

5. There is no subject bar

6. There is no minimum percentage requirement

7. Unlimited number of attempts a candidate can give.

First of all you have to go for SSC CGL exam and fill the form. The you will be called for

Tier I :- It is a 200 marks paper having 200 questions and the question will be asked from :-
Maths

Reasoning

English

General awareness

Then Tier II :- 2 papers of 200 marks each (Paper of English and Maths)

To become an CBI officer (Sub Inspector) you have to appear in the SSC conducted Combined Graduate Level exams


This Exam is conducted by SSC each year.


Educational qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Pass in any stream
No Minimum Percentage is required in Graduation


AGE-
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 27 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


Next Tier 1 Exam of the SSC Combined Graduate level will be held in May 2014 Notification and advertisement will come out in Jan 2014
