The eligibility criteria required to become a inspector in West Bengal are as under :-
-The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university . -The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be from 20 years to 27 years .The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only. Selection Procedure involves of: Written Test Physical Test and Interview . Minimum Physical Standard Requirements: i) For Male Candidates: Height-1.67 mtrs. Weight-51.5 Kgs Chest-79 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms ii). Hill Men of Darjeeling District: Height-1.60 mtrs. Weight- 50 Kgs Chest- 76.20 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. iii) For Female Candidates:- Height-1.60 mtrs. Weight- 45 Kgs iv) Hill women of Darjeeling District:- Height-1.55 mtrs. Weight- 45 Kgs |

West Bengal conduct entrance exam to recruit Inspector for state government.
Eligibility WB Inspector - You should have bachelor degree in any discipline. - Your age must be between 20 to 27 years. - Your height should be at least 1.73 metres , Weight at least 63 kg and Chest at least 86.36 cms to meet physical requirement. Application Procedure - Visit the site : www.policewb.gov.in - Fill the application form. - Upload scanned photograph , signature and NOC. - Pay the registration fee online - Submit the application. Exam Pattern Paper I : General Studies & Arithmetic (100 Marks , 2 Hours) Paper II : English (50 Marks , 1 Hour) Paper III : Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali (50 Marks , 1 Hour) Personal Interview : 30 Marks |
