Hai,
IPS stands for Indian Police Service. UPSC conducting this exam every year once. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree from any recognised university. No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam. Candidate must be a Indian citizen. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible. Age criteria:- The age limits are 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for OBC category candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates. Selection process:- Preliminary exam, Mains exam, Personal interview. List of optional subjects:- Agriculture, Animal husbandry and Veterinary science, Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Civil engineering, Commerce, Economics, Electrical engineering, Geography, Geology, History, Law, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical engineering, Medical science, Philosophy, Physics, Political science, Psychology, Public administration, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology.
