I am complet the 12th class so now which to join the to get ips What is the qulification of I.P.S.OFFICER & which subject we taken the help for the ips & study matirial and how many subject are there in ips which optional subject to taken for reach my gol of ips

I am sorry to say you that you are not eligible for IPS as per your qualification because the 12th standard students are not eligible for IPS the minimum educational qualification for IPS is any bachelor of degree aspirants, first crack the Civil Examination Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones, For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination Educational Qualification >> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university, >> Final year students also eligible for this examination >> There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit >> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates Nationality >> Candidates should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure ** Preliminary Examination ** Mains Examination ** Interview Test No.of Attempts >> Maximum 7 attempts for general candidates >> Maximum 4 attempts for OBC Candidates >> There is no restriction for SC/ST candidates |

IPS - Indian Police service, to become an IPS officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, conducted by UPSC every year after Graduation Degree, hence after 12th one is not eligible for IPS.
Qualification of IPS, Civil Service Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National. -Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or passed in any stream from a recognised University. -Should be within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. -Should have possessed good Physical Fitness. Apart from this the candidate should have minimum prescribed Physical Requirement such as:- HEIGHT - General/OBC Male-165cm and Female-150cm while SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm. Eligibility Criteria :
1.Age limit- 21 years minimum 30 years maximum, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . 2.Number of Attempts Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. Minimum Physical Standard The physical standards are important for the job profile and the rigorous training at the NPA, which includes weekly run for 10 k.m. in 60 minutes, route march for 25 k.m. UAC, Horse riding, rock climbing, assault course, PT obstacles, rope climbing etc. For IPS- Height Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) 160 cm Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. The correction is by lenses only. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic. Blood pressure (High) Age 23 123, age 24 124, age 25 122, age 28 124, age 30 125, age 32 126, age 34 127. Ladies should not be pregnant at the time of Medical Test. Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels. Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking. Exam Pattern : All India Combined Competitive Examination for the Civil Services conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) comprises of two successive stages: Preliminary Examination: It is of objective type, which is a qualifying examination. Its good to see that you have taken an early initiative for the Civil services and you are much more concerned about career.Lots of appreciation for this. IPS stands for the Indian Police services.In order to join this service you will have to appear for the Civil services and clear with good rank. As you have passed your 10+2 right now ,you need to pursue your bachelor's degree in order to become eligible for the Civil services .You can also apply for the Civil services during final year of bachelor's degree . You can pursue in any of your desired discipline from a recognized university. To become an IPS officer you have to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams
Educational Qualification : A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognised University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply. Age Limit : General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam OBC-21-33yrs SC/ST-21-35yrs Attempts : General Category-4 times OBC-7 times SC/ST-Unlimited times For more details visit www.upsc.gov.in |

You have to be a graduate to write the IPS exams arranged by UPSC. IPS exam also have some specific physical requirement which are different from rest of the Civil Service exam. The age limit has to be 21 years minimum till 30 years maximum. Incase of OBCs, it is 33 and 35 for SCs/STs . There are four attempts for general, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. The physical standards are equally important for the job profile and the rigorous training at the National Police Academy, Hyderabad is conducted.

The basic educational qualification required to go for IPS is:
- Graduate degree with minimum 50% marks - Age should be between 21 to 30 years - Along with education, need Physical fitness, eyesight and general intelligence |

To become an IPS officer you need to qualify UPSC civil services paper conducted by UPSC every year.
Now, eligibility to apply for UPSC examination is, the candidate should be in final year of graduation or graduated. So, after completing 12th you have to pursue graduation on the basis of interest then you can apply for UPSC to become IPS. |

Eligibility to be an IPS Officer. To be eligible for becoming an IPS officer, the candidate must possess a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination taken every year by UPSC. Thankyou |
