I am Bhaskar Singha. I am reading in class XI (science). I want to become an air force pilot at first. What is must for becoming an air force pilot?

You can join Indian Air Force after 10+2 by clearing NDA/NA entrance exam.

NDA/NA examination is conducted twice every year by Union Public Service Commission. The eligibility criteria for NDA/NA exam:

1. For Indian Air Force, mathematics and Physics in 10+2 is compulsory. Senior secondary board appearing candidates can also apply for NDA exam.

2. Age limit is: 16.5-19.5 years for unmarried male candidates.

Female candidates are not eligible for this exam. You will have to clear written test and Service Selection board in order to enter into Air Force.

Being a Class 11th student, to be an pilot in Indian Air force the best option for you is to join NDA by cracking NDA entrance examination which are organized twice every year by UPSC.

* The minimum eligibility criteria required for the same examination are as following :-

i) You must be an unmarried Indian male resident.

ii) Your age must lie in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

iii) You must have completed your Class 12th in any stream from a recognized board. But for joining Indian Air force or Indian Navy your academics must includes Physics and Mathematics as your main subjects.

Apart from the option of NDA, you can also become pilot in Indian Air force by qualifying CDS entrance examination or AFCAT.
