You can B.Sc in Geography in the UG programme then try to get in to the M.Sc in Meteorologic Studies in any of the known university in India, By this you can try the IMD (Indian Meteorological Division). This is the Prompt way to go for the job as a weather reporter.

A weather reporter's job is very similar to the job of an anchor. To be a weather reporter TV or radio, one does not need to have a degree in meteorology or any other similar department .
If you want to be a weather reporter for a television channel, then you must have appealing appearence, clear voice and sound Knowledge of required language.
The job along with degree/diploma in broadcast journalism and technical college degree, also requires experience of the work at minimum level, but apart from it, now a days there are many reputed institutes in India which has outstanding placement records.

u dn't need any special knowledge in english it's just your pronounciation skills should be gud nd u shld be fluent wid ur speaking skills nd there's no difference between coming from a geography background or from a journalism college...............
