When you are Pursuing your Final year semester then you are eligible to apply for CAT Examination because only final year appearing candidates are Eligible for CAT Examination

~~ CAT stands for Common Admission test and this examination is conducted by IIM's every year.

~~ The Notification will be published every year in the month of August

~~ For Previous year CAT Examination was already completed, If you are Interested in this examination then please apply for this examination only when you are Pursuing your final year degree course.

CAT entrance Examination is Objective type examination and there are 2 section in this examination :

~~ Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
~~ Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

There will be 30 questions in each section and you have to scored well in both section to get good percentile in CAT Examination. The examination fees of CAT is Rs 1600 and you have to pay the fees through voucher in Axis Bank. Each of the sections will be 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The examination is Conducted in the month of November and December every year.

~~ To apply for CAT Examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University and you have to scored minimum 50% marks in your Graduation, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for CAT Examination.

You are eligible to appear for CAT exam either when you are appearing for final year BBM or pass.

CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST is an entrance examination conducted by IIM for admission to MBA(Master in Business Administration) course in IIMs.

The eligible candidate should have completed or appear for the final year exam for graduation degree from any discipline with 50% marks from a recognised University and there is no age bar for admission to MBA.

CAT can only be applied through on line only by paying the examination fees for Rs.1600.00 which is computer based examination comprising all objective type questions comprising of two sections:-

-Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
-Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning

In order to score good percentage marks, you have to do extremely well in both the sections.

Every year IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) organised the CAT(Common Admission Test) examination. According to the CAT score the candidates are admitted in the management colleges.

Eligible Criteria :-

Final year or pre-final year candidate of bachelor degree are eligible.

So at present you are not eligible.

After passing B.B.M course you are elgible for C.A.T exam..

C.A.T exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad..

As per the CAT eligibility

You need to have done your graduation from UGC recognised college/institute
you need to score atleast 50% marks in your graduation if you are general candidates
and 45% marks for reserved category.

You can apply and appear in CAT in your last year.
By the time you are called for your interview, your graduation must be over.

sir ,i had a 2 years break in 12th...i had failed in maths 4 two years...am i capable 2 write cat??

I'm 2 nd year bbm student in andra Pradesh ( rajahmundry). I did not have any specific guidance to tell what is cat ? And what is mat ? But I have lot of zeal to know about cat and mat exams . And I also have to know one thing without coaching how to prepare for cat exam.wt r the books I prefer to qualify the cat exam?and how to practice online exams for mat???? Plz explain me in detail. Wt is wt ??
