How to can be allowed for CAT exam after passing BBM?
I AM 2nd SEMESTER BBM STUDENT,I WAN TO KNOW FROM WHICH SEMESTER I MAY BE ALLOWED TO TAKE CAT EXAMS?

You are eligible to appear for CAT exam either when you are appearing for final year BBM or pass.
CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST is an entrance examination conducted by IIM for admission to MBA(Master in Business Administration) course in IIMs. The eligible candidate should have completed or appear for the final year exam for graduation degree from any discipline with 50% marks from a recognised University and there is no age bar for admission to MBA. CAT can only be applied through on line only by paying the examination fees for Rs.1600.00 which is computer based examination comprising all objective type questions comprising of two sections:- -Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation -Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning In order to score good percentage marks, you have to do extremely well in both the sections. Every year IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) organised the CAT(Common Admission Test) examination. According to the CAT score the candidates are admitted in the management colleges. Eligible Criteria :- Final year or pre-final year candidate of bachelor degree are eligible. So at present you are not eligible. Here I have provided some books name from where you can study and for this you have to buy the hard copy from market.The books are : 1. Analytical & Logical Reasoning 2. Quantative Aptitude by R.S.Agarwall 3. Verbal ability for CAT by Sujit Kumar 4. CAT by N.K.Sinha 5. Verbal Reasoning by R.S.Agarwall The list of the non IIMs institutes which accept CAT score are: 1. As per the CAT eligibility You need to have done your graduation from UGC recognised college/institute you need to score atleast 50% marks in your graduation if you are general candidates and 45% marks for reserved category. You can apply and appear in CAT in your last year. By the time you are called for your interview, your graduation must be over. All the best |

I'm 2 nd year bbm student in andra Pradesh ( rajahmundry). I did not have any specific guidance to tell what is cat ? And what is mat ? But I have lot of zeal to know about cat and mat exams . And I also have to know one thing without coaching how to prepare for cat exam.wt r the books I prefer to qualify the cat exam?and how to practice online exams for mat???? Plz explain me in detail. Wt is wt ??
