How to prepare for gate from 1st yer b tech...???

Dear Friend

First of all I would like appreciate you that from the very first year of engineering ,you are so much concentrated towards your goal .This early planning will definitely guide you towards success.

Friend ,but you have not mentioned your stream ,so I am providing you preparation tips which is in general applicable for all streams.

GATE is the Graduate Aptitude test in engineering .This entrance examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology for the master's degree in technology .

Bachelor's degree in engineering /technology is the minimum requirement for this exam.Final year engineering students can also apply for the exam.

There is no upper age limit for the exam and also there is no bar on no of attempts.

Preparations tips:

>>Try to read with good concept whatever you read.

>>First of analyze your core subjects ,and try to focus more on the core subjects of your engineering stream.

>>Go through the video lectures if classroom lectures are not sufficient for providing better concept at the NPTEL.

>>Try to join a good coaching institutes right from the end of third year so that you can brush up your early concepts and have more practice over it as GATE exam is objective type and time limited .

>>For best books ,of your stream click here

The GATE exam pattern is :

Before the examinations ,please go as many times as possible through the previous years papers and try merely bubble the answers in exam just on supposition because it has negative marking also.
