i have done +2(n.m) .now i have completed my 7th sem of civil engg. presently i am doing training in designing. can i apply for government job in punjab? i have certificates upto 6th sem without any backlog. 7th sem result will be out in march.

there are many job options for civil engineers. as you are in 7th semester, this is correct time for you to start applying for jobs. The best that I can suggest you is to appear for GATE examination, many PSUs such as BHEL,NTPC,HPCL,IOCL, etc are attached to this exam and demand it's score card for shortlisting the candidates. Besides this you can also appear for examination conducted by DRDO, ISRO etc.
If you have competitive zeal then you can also appear for Indian Engineering Examination , conducted by UPSC. This is a very prestigious job and is a very good start for freshers. Think and decide what's best for you.
