Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is a technical training course of three years duration. AME will help one to acquire an aircraft maintenance engineer license (issued by the DGCA).
Eligibility criteria required to do engineering in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering:- - The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. - Diploma holders with minimum 50% aggregate marks are also eligible to pursue it. Admission process followed by different institutes are different. Admission to the course is offered by some institutes on merit based and some other give direct admission. In case of merit admission, marks scored by a student in 10+2 board exam and entrance test are taken into consideration. Many institutes also have a selection interview. Usually, Diploma holders are given direct admission. |
