How can I get iist admission?...could u please tell me the procedure for admission

IIST conducts its separate entrance test for admission in undergraduate programs
in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics.

The entrance test is name IIST Aptitude Test or ISAT.

The entrance test shall be conducted on 21st April 2012 for admission to the
session starting in Mid of 2012.

You can apply online (only online application) for the entrance test from 1st November onwards.

The online application for ISAT will be done on http://www.iist.ac.in/.

The complete advertisement for the exam is not yet available.

It should be available shortly on the IIST website.

How can I get admission in IIST?

For getting entry into IIST(Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology), you will have to appear in entrance exam of IIST that is ISAT.

The Details about ISAT are as follows :

• The advertisement has not been published now on the official website but it will be published in few days .
• You can fill this form online as well as offline.
• The notification has come and you can get it by visiting the official website that is http://www.iist.ac.in/.Visit this site regularly for latest updates about ISAT.
  
• The online form filling facility will be made available from 1st november 2011 from the official website .

every year IIST conducts the entrance exam known as ISAT exam,.
the minimum educational qualification needed -
at least 70% in 10th standard.
minimum 60% in 12th in PCM (PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY,MATHS).

The test will be conducted in the third weekend of April, 2011 in several centers across the country.

Admission to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology

IIST (Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology) is among the top institutes in the world offering programmes in space science and technology. Admission to undergraduate programme is mode through an all India basis aptitude test ISAT.

Information on ISAT-2012

• ISAT-2012 is going to held on Saturday, 21st April, 2012.
• Online registration will be done from 10:00 am, 1st Nov, 2011 onwards.
• Last date of online submission of application form is 31 Dec, 2011.
• Eligibility criteria - minimum of 70% marks in both 12th & 10th board examination for Gen & OBC candidates. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates at least 60% marks in both the board exams is required.
• Gen/OBC candidates should not born before 1st Oct, 1987. Reserved category candidates get 5 years relaxation on the maximum age limit criteria.
• ISAT consists of three papers Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Check the syllabus in the attachment below.

ISAT Entrance Exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST).

Eligibility

1.>There are various eligibility conditions for the applicants, which are set by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). The eligibility prerequisites for ISAT Exam are given in the lines below.

2.>Only the Indian citizens can apply for the ISAT Entrance test.
The candidates, who are not above 25 years of age, may apply for appearing in the entrance test. There is 5 years relaxation for the candidates of SC, ST and PD categories.

3.>The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories must have obtained minimum 70% marks in aggregate in Class 10th or equivalent examination. The SC, ST and PD categories’ candidates must have passed qualifying examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate.

4.>Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent should be cleared by the candidates, with at least 70% marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), from any recognized state/national Board.

5.>For the SC, ST and PD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% marks in the qualifying examination, from any statutory Board.
